Brother Glenn Portrait

I did this portrait recently at the request from my church First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, TN. It is a portrait of my pastor Brother Glenn Weekly who passed away last year. I felt very honored to be asked to do it. He was a great man of God and is greatly missed by all that knew him. 30x40 oil on panel.

Lisa Portrait

I did this portrait a little over a year ago. It is 30x40" oil on linen. Her name is Lisa and she is a very sweet person with a great personality.

Haywagon #1

I have done a lot of art shows in the past and sold a lot of paintings and this one was one I hated to let go of. I always enjoy painting horses and this one was no exception. I found this image on the internet and just had to paint it. This is a 24x24" oil on masonite. I actually did another one just like it but slightly larger for another client that saw this one and was too late to buy it. I normally don't like to do the same painting twice but I actually enjoyed doing this one twice just to see if I could improve on the first one.

Turtle Jockey

I have done hundreds of illustrations for childrens products but this is one of my first attempts at doing one in Photoshop. I did a pencil sketch, scanned it, and then colored it in Photshop. Fun, fun, fun. I will be posting more like this in the future.

I'd walk a mile

I did this 11x14 oil painting a few years ago just because I wanted to. I sold it to a guy at an art show who commissioned me to to do 2 horse head portraits to go on either side of it above his couch. He thought that it would be funny to have 2 beautiful horses and one ugly camel. He had a great sense of humor and a big wallet to go with it! Yeah

Whippet good!

This is a portrait sample I did  in what I call my Sepia style. It is aprox 24x24" done on illus. board. I use Prismacolor pencils and airbrush acrylic to accomplish this look.

White Lab

This is a sample portrait I recently did for my Portrait Broker to have to show potential clients. 24x24" oil on masonite

Warmblood Horse Portrait

This a recent portrait I did of a horse from Alabama. It was done in oil on masonite 24x24". It was done in thin glazes using Liquin as a medium so that the multi layers of color would dry overnight.
